A new era of immersive reading has arrived in Hangzhou, local media outlets reported.

The future smart reading center opened in Yuhang district's Zhongtai subdistrict on April 8, offering visitors a cutting-edge experience that blends artificial intelligence and metaverse technologies.

Jointly developed by the China Academy of Press and Publication and the Yuhang district publicity department, the center features a metaverse reading experience zone, an AI-powered reading advisor system, and a futuristic cultural tech think tank.

Through technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality, the center delivers personalized reading recommendations and interactive services, giving readers a fully immersive and intelligent reading experience.
