Intl travel influencers unlock the charm of Hangzhou

From March 26 to 28, eight overseas influencers with millions of followers explored Hangzhou in a cultural tourism campaign organized by the Hangzhou municipal bureau of culture, radio, TV and tourism and Trip.com Group.
Adopting the theme "Your Soulmate Hangzhou", the immersive tour featured springtime landscapes, tea culture, Song Dynasty (960-1279) heritage, and local cuisine, offering a vibrant picture of China’s rich traditions and modern lifestyle.
The group, hailing from South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and Indonesia, visited iconic sites like West Lake, tea villages, and historical landmarks including the former Korean Provisional Government site. At Qiandao Lake, they experienced green living through cycling and hiking.
The influencers also explored the city's storytelling hotels and 15-minute city walks and visited the Hangzhou X Show as well as "Your Soulmate Hangzhou" installations, promoting unique local experiences.
Backed by the city's push to boost inbound tourism with policies and services like AI Hangzhou, the campaign reflects Hangzhou's growing appeal on the international stage. The influencers will share their experiences via Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, exposing more global travelers to the wonders of Hangzhou.
