Sun Yujie, a shooter born in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, clinched the gold medal in the women's 25-meter sport pistol final at the 2025 ISSF Shooting World Cup held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 5.
With a score of 38 out of 50, this victory marks Sun's debut at the world cup and a historic achievement for the Hangzhou shooting team.
Sun's performance not only highlights her talent and dedication but also underscores Hangzhou's effective coaching and training methods in producing top-notch athletes

Since retiring in 2014 and taking on the role of women's pistol coach on the Hangzhou Shooting Team, Sheng has adhered to scientific training methods and rigorous teaching principles.
In December 2024, Sheng represented the Zhejiang women's pistol team in national team training. This competition marked her first time participating as a coach in a world-class event, and her team's debut victory showcased her coaching prowess.
