Hangzhou is once again extending a warm invitation to young professionals in Hong Kong.
On March 28, 20 leading enterprises and institutions from Hangzhou – including robotics innovator Unitree Robotics, automotive giant Geely, State-owned Hangyang Group, and Westlake University – will participate in a job fair at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
They will offer over 1,000 high-quality positions across artificial intelligence, telecommunications, mechanical engineering, biomedicine, and finance.
AI is a key focus for 2025, and Hangzhou is actively developing fields like general AI, humanoid robots, and brain-inspired intelligence. The city is developing a thriving environment for top talent, with competitive roles such as AI model algorithm engineers, AI research specialists, and model inference experts from companies like Unitree Robotics, Zhejiang Lab, Geely, and Dahua Technology.
Hangzhou is also enhancing its youth-friendly policies. Programs like the Spring Rain Plan and Qinghe Plan support young professionals, while fresh graduates can enjoy settling-in subsidies – 10,000 yuan ($1376.9) for undergraduates, 30,000 yuan for postgraduates, and 100,000 yuan for doctoral graduates – along with rent and postdoctoral subsidies.
