The China Chamber of International Commerce Hangzhou Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual council meeting and international economic and trade resource exchange conference in Hangzhou on March 17.

Diplomats from Brazil, Ecuador, Portugal, Thailand, and Singapore introduced their countries' respective trade resources and investment opportunities, offering strategic insights to support Hangzhou enterprises in expanding internationally.

To strengthen cross-border financial services, the Hangzhou Chamber and Hangzhou Bank signed a strategic cooperation agreement, with district-level trade promotion agencies also forming partnerships with local banks. New council members from the digital economy and intelligent manufacturing sectors further aligned with Hangzhou's vision as an innovation-driven city.

Several companies shared their global success stories, ranging from technological breakthroughs securing certifications from aerospace giants to cross-border logistics strategies accelerating international brand expansion.

An exhibition showcased over 100 innovative products from more than 20 Hangzhou-based companies. These included Asian Games-themed drinkware, a self-care brand gaining international recognition for its health focus, and businesses specializing in African market trade and digital services.

Zhang Hongbin, president of the Hangzhou Chamber, emphasized the importance of global resource integration, compliance guidance, and brand building to help local businesses navigate international markets.
