A humanoid robot is assisting customers at a lakeside market near West Lake in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, drawing much attention since it started its internship on March 16.
"Xiao Yang, I want to buy some fridge magnets. Could you please direct me to the nearest stall?" "Xiao Yang, I need to use the restroom. Where can I find it?" Faced with a variety of questions from visitors, the robot responded quickly, enhancing the experience for visitors.
The robot also offers tourist information and guide services at scenic spots. When visitors have questions about scenic spots, it can provide detailed information about the features and historical backgrounds of each spot through clear voice broadcasts.
The robot also recommends tourist routes based on real-time data on visitor flow at the scenic area, helping tourists avoid congested areas and save time during their visit, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of West Lake while experiencing the convenience and efficiency brought by technology.
The robot is a result of collaboration between Hangzhou Lakeside Art Market Management Co and Hangzhou Fanjia Technology, aiming to apply AI models to traditional market management for the first time.
