The first Win with AI+ Future Camp, co-hosted by the China Media Group and the Hangzhou municipal government, kicked off at the Hangzhou Chengxi Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor on Feb 26.

The event brought together 100 AI innovators in Hangzhou – capital of East China's Zhejiang province – showcasing cutting-edge projects.

In response to China's growing emphasis on AI as a key driver for technological and industrial transformation, the event aims to provide a platform for entrepreneurs, scientists and business leaders to showcase their AI-driven innovations.

With a focus on fostering future unicorn companies and top AI ventures, the camp will spotlight various AI fields such as the machine revolution, smart devices and future healthcare.

The organizers say the program – consisting of 10 project exhibitions and a grand finale – will offer participants invaluable insights from experts and investors.

The Hangzhou Chengxi Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor, with its strong entrepreneurial ecosystem, will support the projects through policies like funding, office space and R&D support, with up to 1 billion yuan ($137.55 million) in grants and credit.

Local leaders emphasized Hangzhou's commitment to nurturing AI innovation, positioning the city as an ideal destination for young entrepreneurs. The camp is said to serve as a vital opportunity to fuel Hangzhou's role in China's AI industry.
