BrainCo, one of the rising tech innovators in Hangzhou – capital of East China's Zhejiang province – has launched full production of its advanced bionic prosthetics, marking a breakthrough in brain-computer interface or BCI technology.

One beneficiary of BrainCo's bionic hand is Ni Mincheng, who lost both hands at the age of nine and whose life has been transformed.

Now, he can write calligraphy, type and even work out. Similarly, Lin Yun – who lost a leg in an accident – now walks, surfs and competes in bodybuilding thanks to BrainCo's bionic leg.

Unlike invasive brain-chip implants, BrainCo's prosthetics use non-invasive BCI technology to interpret neural signals, enabling precise movements without surgery. The company partners with charities to provide affordable prosthetics and has showcased its innovations at major global expos.

With China's rapid AI advancements, non-invasive BCI is expected to revolutionize healthcare, offering a projected $400 billion market opportunity. For its part, BrainCo says it's continuing to push the boundaries of neurotechnology, unlocking new possibilities for those in need.
