Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change starts meeting in Hangzhou
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or IPCC, started its 62nd plenary session on Monday in Hangzhou, East China. The meeting will last until Friday, as the panel considers the draft outlines of the three Working Group contributions to the Seventh Assessment Report and the draft outline of the Methodology Report on Carbon Dioxide Removal Technologies, Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage, among others. The IPCC is the UN body for assessing the science related to climate change. It's currently in its seventh assessment cycle.
