The city of Hangzhou – capital of East China's Zhejiang province – woke up to a blanket of fresh snow on Feb 20, turning the place into a picturesque winter wonderland.

In Yuhang district's Huanghu town, Wangwei Mountain was covered in thick snow, making it resemble a fairy-tale ice kingdom. Misty treetops and snow-laden branches created a serene, dreamlike atmosphere.

Over in Fuyang district's Chang'an town, Jingshan Mountain stood draped in white, blending seamlessly with the blue sky and swirling clouds.

Further into Fuyang, Longmen Mountain's Xingmei Peak, rising to 1,068 meters above sea level, offered breathtaking views of snow-covered trees lining the ancient trails.

Elsewhere, Yuhang's Tiantang Mountain was a vision of tranquility, its snowy slopes stretching out endlessly. In Xiaoshan district's Daicun town, Yunshi Mountain was draped in a thick 10-centimeter-thick layer of snow, transforming the landscape into a pristine winter dream.

Over in Datong town in the county level city of Jiande – administered by Hangzhou – Gaosuntang village was veiled in mist, the snowfall casting a soft, ethereal glow over the land.

All in all, from the city to the mountains, Hangzhou's wonderful snow-clad landscape turned the metropolis and its surrounds into a living ink painting, inviting all to step into a world of winter magic.
