Hangzhou Post and Zhu Bingren Bronze – located in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province – jointly launched a collectible gift box on Feb 18, which is a fusion of Chinese philately and bronze artistry.
The set, inspired by Ne Zha – a home-born animated film series – includes six exclusive Ne Zha stamps issued in 2021, two holographic postcards and a signature bronze piece the "One Stroke to Command the Universe".
Each box carries a unique serial number, emphasizing its collectible value.
Zhang Weiwei, general manager of Hangzhou Post, said the collaboration was a tribute to Ne Zha's defiant spirit, aligning with the theme of "My fate is mine, not heaven's".
The collection is said to bring traditional culture to life, making Ne Zha's legendary defiance a tangible symbol.
A limited run of 10,000 sets is available, with pre-orders open for 15 days at a launch price of 329 yuan ($45).
Stamp enthusiasts can also participate in a special Ne Zha-themed postmark event at Hangzhou Post's Wulin store until March 1 or request a virtual stamp via the Hangzhou Post WeChat account.
