An immersive Spring Festival concert organized by Hangzhou's culture and tourism authorities took place at a "sky stage" by West Lake on Jan 12, featuring performances ranging from suona music to opera and traditional Chinese instruments.

The "sky stage", actually a passage connecting Zone A and Zone D of the in77 shopping mall, was transformed through smart upgrades into a stage with a large LED screen, creating an interactive performance space.

The show included a blend of local and international cultures, such as a scene from Romeo and Juliet, with the Italian love story connecting with Hangzhou's vibrant arts scene. The grand finale saw a performance of Thousand Years of Waiting, a scene from the Hangzhou-origin love story Legend of the White Snake.

Musicians from Zhejiang Art Vocational College also performed game music from Black Myth: Wukong, drawing enthusiastic applause from the crowd.

The new format of public art performances on the "sky stage" brings cultural events closer to the people, making high-quality art more accessible. Future performances will continue to surprise visitors with diverse cultural shows.
