The Hangzhou-Chengdu Air Express launched on Jan 6 – offering nine daily flights with benefits like free same-day ticket changes and expedited security checks.
Travelers from Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province and Chengdu, capital of China's Southwest Sichuan province, can now enjoy seamless, flexible journeys between the two cities.
Flights operate from 7:45 am to 9:25 pm, providing frequent and convenient options for passengers.
Dedicated check-in counters, priority security channels, streamlined boarding gates and fixed baggage claim carousels at Hangzhou International Airport's Terminal 4 are said to further enhance the travel experience, reducing waiting times and walking distances.
Passengers without checked luggage or special service needs can take advantage of the free same-day flight change service – allowing one complimentary switch to another flight to Chengdu (Shuangliu Airport) in the same fare class.
The new route is said to build on the success of Air China's Hangzhou-Beijing Air Express – aiming to elevate the quality of service and redefine efficient, enjoyable travel between Hangzhou and Chengdu.
