In early December, the water cypresses in Gangnan village, Yuhang district, Hangzhou, transform into a breathtaking display of autumnal hues.
Along a 6-kilometer stretch of Kanghong Xingang Canal, the towering 30-meter-tall trees—over 40 years old—are now cloaked in vibrant shades of rusty red and golden yellow.
Boats provide a great way to explore this picturesque landscape, gliding through waterways flanked by richly colored foliage, it feels like stepping into a living painting. This seasonal spectacle, unique to winter, will continue enchanting nature lovers until mid-January.
