Hangzhou high-tech company assists in Oman's first satellite launch

At 12:03 pm on Nov 11, China's Lijian-1 Y5 commercial carrier rocket lifted off from a commercial aerospace innovation pilot zone in Northwest China, deploying 15 satellites into orbit, including Oman's first: the Oman Smart Remote Sensing Satellite-1, or simply the "Oman Satellite".
The satellite's onboard AI processing platform, or "space brain", was developed by Star Vision, a private company based in Xihu district, Hangzhou. Star Vision is also supporting Oman's satellite capabilities by providing comprehensive satellite industry solutions like a ground station, control software systems, and local personnel training.
