Chinese women's rugby team claims Hangzhou title in Asian Sevens Series
The Chinese women's team defeated Japan in the final of the 2024 Asian Sevens Series Hangzhou leg on Sunday, claiming their second victory in the series following their triumph in the South Korea leg earlier this month.
As the highest-level rugby sevens competition in Asia, the Hangzhou leg gathered 16 top teams from across the continent. Over two days, the Chinese women's team beat Singapore, Kazakhstan, Thailand, China's Hong Kong, and Japan, securing the title with a perfect record of 5-0.
