Shrouded in green trees, the Yanggongdi causeway in the West Lake Scenic Area of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province is showing off its seasonal charm, attracting visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Named after Yang Mengying, a governor of Hangzhou during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the causeway was built to drain the lake and expand its water surface, benefiting generations of local residents. The causeway has six bridges connecting several famous tourist spots along the West Lake, and has become an internet-famous spot in the city.
