A unique consumer aid initiative kicked off in Hangzhou on Sept 8 with the launch of the Ganzi-Hangzhou Partnership project, local media outlets reported.
A special mobile vehicle, styled like Ganzi Tibetan autonomous prefecture's traditional white houses, was stationed at Wushan Square, a busy commercial site, offering visitors a taste of highland delicacies from Ganzi, Southwest China's Sichuan province.
The event showcased Ganzi's scenic beauty, rich culture, and unique products, including matsutake mushrooms and yak milk ice cream. Agreements worth over 30 million yuan ($4.2 million) were signed to promote Ganzi's agricultural products in Hangzhou, strengthening the regions' collaboration in agriculture, tourism, and cultural exchange.
Over the past three years, Hangzhou has teamed up 574 professionals, invested 2.2 billion yuan, and carried out 293 targeted projects to support Ganzi's development.
