Hangzhou celebrated the 18th National Special Olympics Day with a lively event in Qiantang district on July 19.

Special Olympics athletes, accompanied by their parents and volunteers from Zhejiang Gongshang University, participated in 10 engaging yet safe activities, including softball, fast foot races, rope jumping, timed basketball shooting, AI dancing, dry land curling, and floor bowling.

The athletes showed great enthusiasm, encouraged each other, and forged friendships. The event not only helped them improve their hand-eye coordination and cognitive skills but also brought joy through physical activity.
