The Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently issued a notice, stating that all A-level tourist attractions in the province will generally allow entry without reservations, and museums will also implement a no-reservation policy for individual visitors.

Starting July 10, major provincial museums, including the China National Silk Museum, Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Zhejiang Museum of Natural History, and Zhejiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, will no longer require reservations for entry.

During peak times such as public holidays and weekends, attractions may implement crowd control measures and staggered entry to ensure a pleasant visitor experience. Popular sites that need to limit entry during busy seasons should simplify the reservation process, reduce the collection of personal information, and maintain onsite ticket availability.

To better serve the public, tourist attractions and museums will continue to offer online reservation and ticketing services for those who prefer to plan their visits in advance and for large groups.

Previously, on July 5, the Hangzhou municipal bureau of culture, radio, TV, and tourism announced the cancellation of reservation requirements for all A-level tourist attractions in the city.
