The 2024 National Hanfu Festival was held at the China Silk Museum in Hangzhou on April 20 to 21.
This year, the festival collaborated with Marburg and Dusseldorf in Germany. From April 13 to 14 and April 20 to 21, hanfu enthusiasts from throughout Germany and China showcased traditional Chinese culture through workshops, hanfu exhibitions, tea ceremonies, and music exchanges.
This year's festival introduced some new activities, including an immersive "Silk Road Adventure" checkpoint game, allowing visitors to embark on a fantasy adventure with non-player characters as explorers along the Silk Road, and a "Fashion Red Carpet" segment, where visitors showcased their stylish hanfu attire.
In addition, numerous well-known hanfu performance teams presented fashion shows, blending traditional hanfu with modern fashion and showcasing the endless possibilities of Chinese culture.
