A Thai delegation, comprising over 50 executives from top private and public organizations, recently visited Hangzhou as part of a program organized by King Prajadhipok's Institute, or KPI, Thailand's academic institute under the National Assembly's supervision.

During their three-day visit, the delegation explored Hangzhou's technological and cultural landmarks, carefully selected for their global significance and innovation.

Highlights included a tour of the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center, renowned for its modern architecture and its embodiment of the city's ability to host world-class events like the 19th Asian Games.

A visit to Alibaba's headquarters provided insight into China's e-commerce landscape, showcasing innovative business models and a commitment to sustainable development. Additionally, the delegation talked with representatives of Yowant Technology, a leader in e-commerce, about market entry strategies for Thai products in the Chinese market, focusing on live commerce and governmental policies.

Praipol Koomsup of KPI commended the enduring friendship and growing economic ties between Thailand and China. He highlighted the value of learning from Hangzhou's development experience, emphasizing its importance to Thailand's economic progress.
