The "New Productive Forces" science popularization campaign, hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Association for Science and Technology, kicked off at the Future Sci-Tech City in Hangzhou's Yuhang district on Feb 29.
Tan Jianrong from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with young scientists and the public, delved into the realm of new productive forces during the event.
Zhejiang province is expected to select no fewer than 10 cutting-edge spheres for technological advancement and cultivate at least 100 science popularization education bases.
Leveraging resources from academicians, innovative enterprises, universities, research institutions, and various associations, the initiative aims to explore science popularization activities in cutting-edge technology fields, enhance the supply of high-quality science resources, and utilize modern technology to create new science popularization methods. These will lay the groundwork for Zhejiang to become a leader in shaping new advantages in development through technological innovation.
