In exciting news for football enthusiasts, Argentina's national football team is set to play two friendly matches in China this March, including one in Hangzhou.
The Argentine Football Association made the official announcement on their social media platform, revealing that Argentina will face Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria in the matchups. The games are scheduled to take place between March 18 and 26, with specific match times to be disclosed soon.
The announcement featured an image of the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, commonly known as the Big Lotus, which served as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Hangzhou Asian Games in 2023.
The stadium boasts a ground area of 82,300 square meters and a total built-up area of roughly 216,000 sq m, accommodating over 80,000 spectators.
When Argentina played in Beijing last June, with Lionel Messi participating, tickets were in high demand despite the high prices. The upcoming matches in Hangzhou are expected to draw significant attention, especially if Messi joins the squad, promising a full house with 80,000 fans at the arena.
Further details regarding specific match times, ticket prices, and related information will be promptly shared via our website. Stay tuned for updates!
