Hangzhou's Wen'er Market, after undergoing a significant transformation, now boasts a more youthful and refined ambiance, signaling a departure from its traditional roots.

Renovations on the market began in October of last year, and the majority of the market has now been completed and is ready for business.

Renowned designer Shen Lei personally took charge of the renovation, giving the market a new lease on life, deeply rooted in the local culture.

The revamped market not only features conventional produce stalls, but also snack shops, retail spaces, and even glimpses of coffee and tea shops and specialty markets.

According to insiders, the market will feature culinary activities, shared kitchens, and a community food education academy in the future, giving it a youthful spirit and vibrant energy.
