The Silk Road Artists' Rendezvous – Visiting China for Creative Inspiration Exhibition, a significant part of the Liangzhu Forum, opened in Yuhang district, Hangzhou on Dec 3.
Prior to the exhibition, more than 80 artists from over 80 countries and regions were invited to Zhejiang to seek out creative inspiration and over 150 artworks were chosen.
The artworks were exhibited in three categories - Exploring the Origins of Civilization, Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains, and Humanistic Landscapes. Artists drew inspiration and insight from Chinese art and transformed their observations, emotions, thoughts, and reflections into diverse artistic creations, using art styles that embody their own national characteristics.
The exhibition serves as a cultural exchange platform, allowing artists from different nations to showcase their perspectives on Chinese art and culture, fostering a rich, cross-cultural dialogue.
