Hangzhou Metro Group announced that Wulian Station and Yichenglu Station on Hangzhou Metro Line 19 will open on Nov 30, local media outlets reported.

Wulian Station is located on the west side of the intersection of Wensan West Road and Gudun Road. The station is a standard two-story underground station, with the first underground floor serving as the station hall and the second underground floor as the platform.

The station is themed around the camphor tree, the city tree of Hangzhou. It features beautiful pictures of people, nature, and culture, reflecting the unique charm of Jiangnan (the region in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River).

Yichenglu Station is located at the intersection of Yicheng Road and Xinfeng Road in Shangcheng district and oriented in an east-west direction. The station is an underground section, with the first underground floor serving as the station hall and the third underground floor as the platform.

The station features elements from Hangzhou's Song Dynasty (960-1279) porcelain in its spatial design. The design is light, pleasing to the eye, and showcases traditional Jiangnan-style handmade ceramics.
