Yuhang district in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province. launched a recruitment event at Zhengzhou University in Central China's Henan province on Oct 13, local media outlets reported.

A total of 15 companies from Yuhang attended in search of promising talent.

The recruitment event was initiated and organized by the Hangzhou municipal committee's talent office, the Hangzhou municipal human resources and social security bureau, and the Yuhang district government, while the Yuhang district committee's talent office and the Yuhang district human resources and social security bureau helped to carry the event out.

For many years, Hangzhou has been known as a dynamic hub for business and innovation. The city boasts a thriving economy, an ever-expanding technology sector, and a rapidly-growing startup ecosystem.

However, the vibrant and competitive business landscape requires a constant inflow of fresh talent, sparking a drive to explore beyond the city's boundaries to unearth the most promising prospects.

This year's recruitment event took a unique approach by heading to Zhengzhou. It aimed to tap into the talent pool that China's universities have to offer, focusing particularly on high-potential students at Zhengzhou University.

As part of the event, the representatives of Hangzhou companies engaged with students in open discussions, shared insights into the business scene in Hangzhou, and introduced them to the exciting career prospects awaiting those who join their teams.
