Flames arrive in Hangzhou for 4th Asian Para Games

The flame for the 4th Asian Para Games reached its destination in Hangzhou on Oct 12, local media outlets reported.
Collected at the Guangzhou Asian Games Museum, the flame embarked on a unique journey, becoming the first in the history of the Asian Para Games to be transported via high-speed rail services.
Upon its arrival at Hangzhou East Railway Station around 8:48 pm, a warm welcome ceremony marked the historic event.

The flame, collected at approximately 9:50 am in Guangzhou, host city of the 2010 Asian Games and capital of South China's Guangdong province, was ignited in the torch box. Its kindling was a testament to the unity and determination of the athletes from across Asia.
The flame will be carried through the torch relay, with the starting ceremony scheduled for Oct 19 in Chun'an, host county of the equestrian events of the 19th Asian Games.
The 4th Asian Para Games will take place from Oct 22 to 28, setting the stage for remarkable achievements in the world of para sports.
