The 2023 Hangzhou Marathon is scheduled to commence at 7:30 am on Nov 19, with the registration period set to run from 10 am on Aug 28 to 4 pm on Aug 30.

This year's Hangzhou Marathon is expecting a total of 36,000 participants - 20,000 for the full marathon, 12,000 for the half marathon, and 4,000 for the Fun Run (3.5 kilometers).

The registration fees for the three categories are 150 yuan ($20.57) per person, 120 yuan per person, and 80 yuan per person, respectively. Participants for the full marathon and half marathon should be at least 20 years old and 16 years old respectively, while those joining the Fun Run must be at least 13 years old. Participants under the age of 13 are required to be accompanied by at least one parent.

The biggest change at this year's event is the elimination of the Family Run and Couple Run categories.

Those interested can register through multiple channels, including the official Hangzhou Marathon website, Hangzhou Marathon WeChat subscription account (WeChat ID: hzim87), Hangzhou Marathon WeChat service account (WeChat ID: hzim1987),  "Zhe Li Ban" mobile app, and Zhejiang Online Administrative Service platform.

After registration, participants will be determined in a draw before making the payment.
