Hangzhou's shared bikes, characterized by their red color, were recently put into use at the Asian Games Village, providing a new addition to the low-carbon transportation system of the village.

A total of 160 bikes have been placed in the Asian Games Village, including 120 bikes at the Athletes' Village and 40 at the Media Village.

Within the Athletes' Village, the 120 bikes are distributed across six rental and return points, strategically located along the athletes' daily routes. The points include positions near the residents' service center entrance and transportation hubs within the village.

In the Media Village, 40 bikes were stationed at two designated points.

Users visiting the bike rental and return points simply need to scan the QR code on the rental instructions or bike lock, and then access the cloud-based Asian Games Village bike service system. By entering their Asian Games ID number, the system will automatically generate a reservation record. Upon presenting the ID number to the staff, users receive a brand-new bike rental card. With the bike rental card, they can unlock the bikes and start cycling.

The operating hours for the bikes are set from 9 am to 6 pm. For nighttime safety, bike rentals are not available after 6 pm. During this period, alternative transportation methods such as electric shuttle buses are recommended.
