Hong Kong celebrated its annual Paralympic Day at the Hong Kong Sports Institute on July 23, which marked the beginning of the 100-day countdown to the Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
Drawing the participation of over 2,500 people, the event showcased the Hangzhou Asian Para Games torch, flags, and souvenirs, and invited "Feifei", the mascot of the Para Games, to visit Hong Kong and cheer on local athletes for the first time.
The Paralympic Day is the largest annual event celebrating sports for people with disabilities.
The Hong Kong Paralympic Committee remains dedicated to collaborating with various sectors to promote the development of disabled sports in Hong Kong and fostering inclusivity between individuals with and without disabilities.
The Hong Kong delegation has concluded its third round of registration for the Hangzhou Asian Para Games after attracting nearly 200 individuals. The delegation is now preparing for the Hangzhou Asian Para Games in October.
