Hangzhou is planning to build four new high-speed railway stations, namely, Qiantang Railway Station, Xiaoshan International Airport Station, Jiandenan Railway Station along the Hangzhou-Quzhou High-speed Railway, and Jiandedong Station along the Jinhua-Jiande Railway.
Currently, Hangzhou has 11 high-speed railway stations in operation. The city's main large-scale railway hubs are Hangzhou Railway Station, Hangzhoudong Railway Station, Hangzhounan Railway Station and Hangzhouxi Railway Station.
Hangzhou is also expected to introduce four new high-speed rails. They are Hangzhou-Wenzhou, Hangzhou-Quzhou, Jinhua-Jiande, and the Airport High-speed Railway. After they start running, Hangzhou will have a total of 11 high-speed railways, connecting most cities across the country and establishing a "one-hour traffic circle" within Zhejiang province.
The completion and operation of the Airport High-speed Railway will facilitate the rapid transit of passengers between Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Taizhou, Shanghai, southern Jiangsu province, and southern Anhui province, bolstering's Hangzhou's position as a railway hub.
