The fifth China International Tea Expo, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, will be held from May 20 to 24 at the Hangzhou International Expo Center.

Tang Ke, head of the organizing committee, stated that this year's expo will showcase and sell products in an area of 50,000 square meters, focusing on rural vitalization, the Asian Games, and common prosperity.

The expo will highlight the development of China's tea industry, promote new varieties of tea, technologies, equipment, and business models, and facilitate tea product trade while preserving and promoting tea culture.

There will be 2,003 standard booths and over 800 well-known tea companies from more than 10 countries and regions in participation, including 22 tea-producing provinces in China. The exhibited products will include the six major tea categories - black, green, yellow, white, oolong, and dark - as well as tea utensils, tea clothing, tea packaging machinery, tea technology, and coffee, with more than 10,000 kinds of products in total.

During the expo, the organizing committee will hold major events such as the Tea Tasting and Exchange Conference and the China Tea Industry International Summit Forum, as well as release the Hangzhou Index of China's Tea Industry, which serves as a guide for tea companies' steady and robust development.

The upcoming expo will be an excellent opportunity for industry experts and tea lovers, exchange ideas, and explore new trends and innovations in the tea industry. Moreover, it is a unique platform to showcase the rich and diverse tea culture in China and promote the sustainable development of the tea industry.
