The China Center for International People-to-People Exchange and the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee recently invited a group of "young envoys" from China and Mongolia to share their reflections on the international sporting gala.
Students and teachers from Nanning, capital of Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, visited the Embassy of Mongolia in Beijing and sang and danced with their Mongolian counterparts.
Nanning students performed traditional opera Yongcheng Charm and Cantonese opera The Drunken Concubine, while Mongolian students played the piano and put on a traditional Mongolian dance performance
They also talked about things such as what sports they like, exchanged gifts representing their wishes, and expressed their excitement for the Asian Games. Chinese children invited Mongolian children to watch the Asian Games in Hangzhou and they promised to cheer for their own athletes.
