Authorities in East China's Zhejiang province recently issued a guideline to promote the construction of common prosperity workshops.

According to the guideline, Zhejiang will build 10,000 such workshops in three years to bolster rural revitalization efforts.

Authorities will set up these workshops on idle land in rural areas to improve employment levels and raise the incomes of rural residents.

More than 3,700 workshops have been built across the province since June this year. These workshops have provided 245,000 jobs and helped 26,000 low-income farmers.

Authorities will also build a digital application for the workshops that would provide real-time warnings and reminders on production safety, environmental pollution, and other issues.
