Parade held for China's top cartoon, animation gala

The 18th China International Cartoon & Animation Festival, the top domestic cultural gala, kicked off with a float parade in Gongshu district in the morning of Nov 26, local media reported.
Centering around cartoon and animation saturating the city, permeating life, and boosting common prosperity in the new era, the parade offered a look into the achievements of past events and presented bright prospects for the city's cultural sector.
Lianlian, Chenchen and Congcong, mascots of the Hangzhou Asian Games based off the city's three World Heritage sites, also made an appearance at the parade.
