Sprenger elaborated that he has been cooperating with the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education and provincial teacher training centers to help local teachers develop school curricula and organize teacher training projects.

He also represented the foundation in the Global Youth Climate Week – Baizhang Dialogue on Oct 29, where he not only invited a German expert to teach children how to be responsible toward the environment, but also served as a member of the dialogue panel discussing policies related to ESD in Germany.

However, Sprenger said what he enjoyed most that day was the river clean-up activity.

"I like being outside in the fresh air, with dirty hands, dirty shoes, and a clean conscience," he explained.
