The Beijingyuan E-sports Ecological Park recently witnessed the completion of its first-phase project and will open to the public soon.
The park is home to the China Hangzhou Esports Center, the official venue for e-sports competitions during the 19th Asian Games.
Covering a total area of 360,000 square meters, the park will be a great place to relax, exercise, and partake in cultural experiences and intelligent interactive activities. The northern part of the park features natural landscapes, while the southern park is home to the China Hangzhou Esports Center.
The park also has five themed sections consisting of over 150 plants, including cinnamon, osmanthus, cherry blossoms, red maples, and cherry-apple trees.
A number of cultural relics and historical sites are being preserved at the park, including Zhaoxi Lake, which is believed to have been named by Emperor Qinshihuang of the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC) during his inspection hunting tour and the ancient Tongji Bridge built in the 23rd year (1545) of the reign of Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
