Except for a three-month construction suspension called for by epidemic prevention and control policies, Zheng has always followed the habit of "patrolling" the bridge regularly – sometimes two or three times a day and at least once every two or three days.
In addition to the Pengbu Bridge, Zheng has also followed the construction of the Hangzhou West Railway Station, the Qiantang Expressway (Pengbu-Jiubao section), and the Jiubao Bridge in recent years.

Zheng said that he will continue to take pictures of the construction of the second passage of the Grand Canal, which started in 2015, and is planning to take some good photos of the 20 new bridges that will traverse it.
