Hangzhou residents can now borrow umbrellas at the city's metro stations, local media reported.

More than 14,800 umbrellas were recently distributed to the city's metro stations.

People can borrow the umbrellas after paying a deposit of 20 yuan ($2.89). A user can borrow up to three umbrellas at a time. Umbrellas can be returned to any metro station.

The deposit will be refunded as long as users return the umbrellas within a week.
