Hangzhou's Xiaoshan International Airport on June 17 signed an agreement to open an airport in Shengzhou, a county-level city in Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province.

The Shengzhou Terminal will cover about 10,000 square meters and be located near the Xinchang Railway Station.

Construction of the terminal's main structures has already been completed. Renovations will begin before the end of this year.

Authorities say the opening of the terminal will mark another milestone in Shengzhou's development of its public transportation infrastructure.
