Editor's Note: The Hangzhou culture, radio, film and tourism bureau has unveiled a list of the 50 experience centers that best bring out the essence of the 19th Asian Games and the unique charm of Hangzhou. Xinye ancient village

Xinye ancient village, which is located at the foot of Yuhua Mountain in Daiciyan town, Jiande city, boasts a history of more than 800 years. It was established during the reign of Emperor Jiading of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279).

The village is currently one of the most complete ancient residential complexes in East China's Zhejiang province and belongs to the Ye clan.

In addition to preserving more than 200 residential buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), the village also has 16 characteristic clan temples, towers and pavilions.
