Hangzhou Asian Games kicks off 200-day countdown celebrations

East China's Hangzhou launched a series of celebrations on Feb 21 to mark the 200-day countdown to the 19th Asian Games, the day after the closing ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
The 19th Asian Games are the second international sporting gala to be held in China in 2022 after the Winter Olympics. Its 200-day countdown officially started at 20:00 on Feb 21.
At the livestream show starting at 15:00 on the Hubin Pedestrian Street, one of the most bustling areas in Hangzhou, the Asian Games released a promotional video for the 200-day countdown, a series of cultural products, a public solicitation of collections for the Hangzhou Asian Games Museum, and various sports shows put on by local residents.
Hangzhou also launched a campaign at 14:30 showing its determination and calling on all construction parties to finish improving urban infrastructure before the opening of the Asian Games.
Between 19:40 and 20:00, 1,000 drones will light up the sky with a variety of elements concerning Hangzhou and the Asian Games.
