Xiajiang Village Scenic Area

Founded 800 years ago, Xiajiang Village is nestled in a mountainous area in southwest Hangzhou. The village is known for its 600-year-old Jiang Genealogy which comprises 16 family rules that have become an integral part of village life. The villagers have a reputation of being honest people.

Xiajiang village is a domestic model in terms of the revitalization of rural areas. Formerly a little-known area, the village is now a popular tourist destination that generates a considerable tourism revenue every year.
