The Olympic Council of Asia and the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee HAGOC held a technical delegate conference in Hangzhou from Dec 15 to 16. 

During the conference, HAGOC gave a report on their preparations in 14 areas: competition management, anti-doping, registration, arrival and departure, media operations, broadcasting services, venue construction, information technology, transportation, uniforms, Asian Games Village, catering, accommodation and medical services including COVID-19 countermeasures.

HAGOC experts visited all 55 competition venues within the past three months and presented photo displays, operation flow in the field and virtual reality panoramic maps.

HAGOC said that it will facilitate communication between the competition venue managers and the technical delegates to ensure a smooth build-up to the 19th Asian Games, which will run from Sept 10 to 25, 2022 in Hangzhou. The Games will feature 40 sports, 61 disciplines and 482 events.
