The open testing for the "Asian Games Pass" started in Hangzhou, capital city of East China's Zhejiang province, on Sept 27.

The Asian Games Pass is an Alipay applet launched by the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, the Hangzhou bureau of culture, broadcasting and tourism, Hangzhou Citizen Card Co Ltd, as well as e-payment giant Alipay.

The applet integrates health QR code, travel code, bus card, and metro card services, as well as ticket reservations for scenic spots in Hangzhou and the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.

The preferential ticket package, which is available for 29.90 yuan ($4.63), on the applet allows users to visit 18 scenic spots in the city as many times as they like for a whole year, with these scenic spots including Xixi National Wetland Park, Mount Tianmu, as well as Oriental Culture Park.

People can also make reservations for more than 100 museums and libraries in Hangzhou on the Asian Games Pass applet.

Currently, the applet is only available in Hangzhou. Residents from the cities of Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing, and Huzhou, which are assisting Hangzhou in hosting the Asian Games, will have access to the applet very soon.

Over the following three to five years, the applet will include more functions, such as accommodation services, check-in services for conferences, and administrative affairs handling.
