Porcelains master Ye Guozhen, as well as traditional porcelain-crafting inheritors Ye Jiaxing and his daughter recently completed three series of works to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

The cups, plates, and pots replicate the styles of the Imperial Kiln of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) and feature elements of the CPC centenary. Three pieces of the creations are now exhibited at Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall in Jiaxing where the First National Congress of the CPC was held.

Porcelain products retrieved from the Imperial Kiln of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) were crafted for daily use in the imperial court and for sacrificial rites. They were elegant and simple, as well as representative of China's changing aesthetic standards.
