Earlier this year, the Organizing Committee of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and the Asian Para Games published its City Display Master Plan, offering guidelines to better integrate sports elements with urban landscapes.

The plan, which had a detailed focus on sports venues and urban facilities, was aimed at providing comprehensive and scientific guidance to elevate Hangzhou's overall Asian Games atmosphere.

For example, sports elements in traffic hubs like airports, railway stations, and subway stations aim to offer a warm and welcoming feeling, as these areas usually influence people's first impressions of Hangzhou. In addition, sports venues are being decorated in contrasting and vibrant colors to enhance the event's atmosphere.
