Osaka-based Tasogare Coffee was officially announced as the exclusive coffee supplier of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games in Hangzhou on April 12.

Mao Genhong, deputy secretary-general of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, and Lin Hao, founder of Tasogare Coffee, attended the news conference.

According to Tasogare Coffee's official website, the brand had sold over 300 million cups of coffee as of the end of 2020. Its biggest factory is currently under construction in China and is expected to have an annual production capacity of 1 billion cups.

According to Mao, Tasogare Coffee was chosen for its high quality product and attitude toward a healthy life. "Our mission is to serve each Chinese a cup of good coffee," said Lin.

Tasogare Coffee announced on April 12 that it will develop products featuring Hangzhou's culture and history and engage more young people during the Games.

The brand also pledged to serve 100 million cups of free coffee to people who contribute to the Games' preparations and organization.
